First Day of German Class
I started my intensive german course that is mandatory for my graduation here as an international student. Yesterday we got the mass intro to the system and the course, as well as wrote a test. There were two tests, the second being optional. If one felt the first one was too easy, then the second one would place you in a more advanced class. As I can already speak German fairly well, I flew through the first one, which is similar to a test in an intro to German course. But, as I hate writing tests, especially mandatory ones, I opted to go home instead of writing the second one. This, I think, turned out in my favour. Though I didn't get to be in the most advanced class, I got slated in the one below it. I think my German is the best in my group, and feel Im going to fly through this. Plus, Ive met a ton of cool people in the process. There's a dude from Calgary in my class, a few Americans, and some scattered from all over the world, from Singapore to China to Finland.
We just had a quick introduction of everyone today, and took a casual stroll throughout Stuttgart. It was a good day to start. Then it got even better... I recieved my package from Aaron in Amsterdam. For those who don't know me, you get three guesses as to what it is, the first two dont count. So I made a couple dope smoking friends here and after they finish their exam today they're gonna come on over and enjoy the gift with me.
I took a few pictures today, some crazy random shit that I saw. Theyre posted here.
